Rushing to cross the wrong finish line hits a nerve for me, especially when you see the train wreck that’s to come but simply don’t have the power to fight against higher management with their misplaced objectives. I wish I knew how to persuade them to work towards the right goal back then; I’m still looking for the best argument to do that right now.

I confess, I was guilty of UX snobbery too, and when I realised it, I sure felt like a hypocrite who let ego get the better of me. I find it rather nice that the necessity to be humble when practising UX design is helping me be a better person.
